10-151-103 CYBERSECURITY DOCUMENTATION & AWARENESS ...learners will develop the ability to prepare and present written and verbal training documents as well as technical documentation with the appropriate audiences in mind. An emphasis is placed on communicating cybersecurity risks and awareness to all audiences. (Prerequisite: 10-151-100, Intro to Cybersecurity: 10-801-136, English Composition 1)

Cybersecurity Forensics & Incident Response

10-151-101 CYBERSECURITY FORENSICS & INCIDENT RESPONSE ...students will engage with cybersecurity forensics by learning what digital forensics and incident response is, the methodologies used, key tactical concepts, and the tools need to perform examinations. (Prerequisite: 10-151-100, Intro to Cybersecurity, and 10-150-177 Windows Client Essentials.)

Dairy Herd Records & Analysis

3 cr.

10-091-328 DAIRY HERD RECORDS AND ANALYSIS... dairy performance is analyzed through good record keeping and analysis. Students will become proficient in the use of PCDART, Dairy Comp 305, BoviSync and AgSource herd management programs. Students will also be exposed to other software systems and their applications.

Dairy Nutrition

3 cr.

10-090-375 DAIRY NUTRITION ...this course covers ruminant nutrition from calf to milking animal. Utilize forage analysis to balance rations. Learn basic ration formulations utilizing computer software and the pros and cons of various feed stuffs utilized in the dairy industry.

Dairy Production Mgmt

3 cr.

10-091-379 DAIRY PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT ...this course is designed to bring all aspects of dairy management together (including, but not limited to: animal health, nutrition, production, housing, handling, management practices, technology, reproduction, economics, food safety, contracts and employability opportunities). Students will use critical thinking and problem solving techniques regarding multiple aspects of the dairy and the impacts seen on animal production/performance. (Prerequisite: 10-091-329, Livestock Housing and Equipment)

Dairy Replacement Mgmt

3 cr.

10-091-376 DAIRY REPLACEMENT MANAGEMENT ...this course will focus on the feeding and management of dairy replacement calves from birth through puberty, breeding, and gestation. There will also be emphasis on the feeding and management of dry cows through calving. Students will also review facility requirements and husbandry techniques for these classes of livestock. (Prerequisite: 10-091-329, Livestock Housing and Equipment)

Dairy Reproduction Mgmt.

3 cr.

10-091-330 DAIRY REPRODUCTION MANAGEMENT ...students will learn physiology and anatomy of the reproductive organs and the utilization of reproductive protocols for increased breeding success. Learn artificial insemination techniques and how genomics work and genomic applications. Utilize sexed semen and cross breeding practices.

Dairy Science Internship I

3 cr.

10-091-381 DAIRY SCIENCE INTERNSHIP 1 àThe dairy science internship is designed to give students a hands-on experience in the dairy field, either on a dairy farm or dairy related business. The student, instructor and employer will develop a customized course objective. Every attempt will be made to match students' interests with employers' offerings. Instructor supervision will be coordinated with the employer to assure student and learning objectives are met. (Prerequisite: 10-091-327, Basic Animal Husbandry)

Dairy Science Internship II

3 cr.

10-091-382 DAIRY SCIENCE INTERNSHIP IIà The dairy science internship is designed to give students a hands-on experience in the dairy field, either on a dairy farm or dairy related business.
