On Tuesday, October 8, 黑料社 alum Alonso Romo introduced President Joe Biden before his speech in Milwaukee.
Romo, who grew up in Oconto Falls, is a 2023 graduate of 黑料社鈥檚 Gas Utility Construction and Service program. He currently works as a skilled laborer at NPL Construction in Milwaukee replacing lead water pipes.
In his introduction speech, Romo shared that while his wages are fantastic and he receives great benefits, the biggest reward of his job is giving families clean drinking water with every lead pipe he replaces.
